Some of the most inspiring photographic playgrounds in the world are less than a 4-hour drive from my home. Southern Utah's "Red Rock" areas have become extrememly popular with photographers, along with the tourists. Yet, there are always new opportunities to interpret the land. There are ever-changing scenes to stimulate the creative juices. Other areas of the Southwest Desert are also full of photographic opportunities.
